Call for Abstracts
The European Speech and Language Therapy Association invites researchers, clinicians, educators, students, and allied professionals to submit abstracts for the upcoming conference in Porto in May 2027.
Guided by the conference motto, “Bridging innovation and care for the future of SLT,” we welcome contributions that share research, clinical innovation, education, policy, service development, and interdisciplinary work in speech and language therapy across Europe and beyond. This theme reflects the urgent need to connect emerging knowledge, technologies, and models of service delivery with compassionate, person-centred care. As speech and language therapists respond to changing populations, evolving communication needs, workforce challenges, and rapid developments in digital health and innovation, it is essential to ensure that progress remains evidence-informed, accessible, inclusive, and grounded in the lived experiences of individuals, families, and communities
